Ane Rodríguez is a Venezuelan-Spanish director and writer, residing in Mexico City. It has a repertoire of music videos, short films and commercials. Her experience as an author of children's books, telling stories with a lyrical rhythm, led her to consolidate her seal in the audiovisual medium: characterized by dynamic narrative structures with a look of humor and fine irony, accompanied by a very careful aesthetic with meticulously detailed color palettes planned.
In the advertising medium, she has directed campaigns for brands such as Netflix, Samsung, Nescafé, Televisa, Citibanamex, Bimbo and Stella Artois. Social projects such as “Beat Pride”, a Pride Day documentary campaign, hosted by Alejandra Bogue, renowned transgender actress, and “Mani-cura” from the Lifetime channel, a case about breast cancer, awarded 4 bronzes at the Festival Círculo Creativo Gold Circle and winner of 1 gold EFFIE.
In the musical field she has worked for renowned musicians such as “Emmanuel”, “Tessa Ia”, the rock bands “Allison”, “La Vida Bohème” and the Mexican rapper "Tino El Pingüino", positioning himself in the first national trend numbers with the “GIF” video clip.
Her beginnings in the audiovisual medium were with her debut feature, the short film: "Anastasia", a romantic comedy that touches on environmental themes, awarded first place and best script at the Ecofilm Festival, and official selection of several international festivals such as: Best of Latin America Short Film Fest and the Valdivia Film Festival.
