He began his career in film as an apprentice and production assistant on the film Como Agua Para Chocolate.
He is a Director and Screenwriter graduated with honors from the Cinematographic Training Center, with a Master's Degree in Filmmaking from the Royal College of Arts through the National Film & Television School in the United Kingdom; FONCA scholarship with the Support for Studies Abroad, he also obtained the United International Pictures Scholarship in the United Kingdom, both for two consecutive years.
He develops as a director of short films, most of them present in the various international festival circuits, among which his final thesis at the C.C.C stands out. Anachronies; The Dentist, Chasing Sheep made in the United Kingdom and Alacranes in Spain, both last winners of the best film and best direction of the Stella Artois Short Film Contest and presented at the London Film Festival in an exclusive section. Also his work as director of the 2nd Unit of the feature film Km 31, as well as the television series M13DOS and Terminales. He is also Director of Commercials, Master of Filmmaking and Cinematographic Language at the C.C.C. since 2009, at the SAE Institute México since 2015 and teaches courses for the general public on History and Language of Cinema at UNAM since 2017.
